LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHER CAPTURES ARTISTRY IN LIFE

PLANO, TX, August 23, 2005, 7:00 PM – Music, art and ice cream combine for a fun-filled night at the Plano Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop located at the Northwest Corner of Preston Road and Plano Parkway. The scoop shop / gallery opens its doors to the public for a special evening on Tuesday, August 23rd at 7:00 PM. Arthur David Zoller will be presenting his photography of music, nature and architecture. Zoller will be bringing additional works to the scoop shop on Tuesday.

Hunter Rose, Ice Cream Czar and Phillip Taitel, Head Scooper (Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop proprietors) suggest that we all support our local artists. Rose the Czar and philosopher explains, “Art, much like ice cream, appeals to most of the senses and has remained part of life’s pleasures throughout history. Supporting artists such as David Zoller is tantamount to supporting life itself.” Taitel adds that “Like most finer aspects of art and ice cream, it’s all about the love…” In addition to giving a public venue for Zoller’s work, Ben & Jerry’s is offering a free ice cream cone to anyone purchasing one of Zoller’s works on August 23rd.

Ben & Jerry’s Plano supports local artists by dedicating part of their store to displaying and selling the works of talented local artists in a gallery setting. Artists interested in displaying their works at Ben & Jerry’s should contact Hunter Rose at 972-380-COWS or email at czar@mycowgoesmoo.com. Ben & Jerry’s Plano is located at 1501 Preston Road, Ste. 400, Plano, Texas 75093 and can be found on the Northwest Corner of Preston and Plano Parkway.
